Matangazo is a free, local, community classifieds websites. It offers a convenient, fun, and easy way for people in the same town to meet, trade, share ideas, and help each other.

Matangazo.com was designed and created by me, a Tanzanian university student whilst studying in England My main reason behind building Matangazo is quite simple.
When I finished my degree and returned home to Tanzania, I wanted to maintain my independence and move out of my family home. I wanted to rent an apartment in Dar es Salaam. Since I could not afford to rent an apartment on my own, I needed to find a website where I could put a free classified advertisement in order to find someone with whom I could share the rent on an apartment.
